Lonely motherless girl with narcissistic step mother meets a handsome prince, loses a shoe and lives happily ever after.

Oh wait, wrong story.

Young girl gets blown away, tries to find her way home down a magical road, meets some unlikely friends, learns it was all a lie and discovers she had the power all along.

Closer, but still not quite right.

OK, here is the real story.

Timid country girl falls in love, gets married too young, knows nothing about herself or the world, has some babies, becomes chronically overwhelmed, goes on a 15 year journey trying to understand WTF the law of attraction was all about, marriage disintegrates under staggering debt and ultimately ends in a traumatic dumpster fire. Girl drags herself out of the carnage, one shaky step at a time and reinvents herself and her life by staring her fear in the face and unearthing the courage and strength that had been growing inside her the entire time. And just like that, a mother effing warrior was born.
